Discoveries roundabout

An imposing roundabout, from an artistic point of view, recalls the discoveries and has a particularity in its construction. A pedestrian tunnel that passes under the roundabout. About a year ago it was painted by the local artist Filipe Neves, also known as ASUR, with the support of Albufeira City Council.

It is a pleasant space, next to the riverside park, ideal for a walk. There is also a children's area for children to spend their energy.

The paintings that extend along the tunnel represent marine environments, and allude to the fishing life of the old Albufeira.
